Misc
Here's another quilt I used in the demo on TheQuiltShow.com. This one was partially quilted when Alex was learning about Mosaic piecing.
This is the completed quilt. I'm calling it California Beach - because of the California poppies in the foreground.
On theQuiltShow.com I used several demos. I thought I'd share some here.
I'll try to share some more tomorrow.
This is partially painted Bailey, just the head
He's used as a prop/demo on the show.
Then there is a couple of gifts...
Gift for Alex
What an exciting opportunity. A few months ago I got a call inviting me to be a guest on "The Quilt Show" with Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson. It was especially nice because they came to my local are to film the show. The time is coming soon - the video becomes live on July 30.
Imagine our surprise when we drove into town.
WOW!
The National Quilt Museum sure knows how to advertise their exhibits.
Out front they also featured my quilts...
So I am thrilled to say the least, with the welcome we experienced. The people coming through the museum seemed very interested in my quilts and it was fun to be able to talk with them.
Also my book, "A Walk in the Woods" which features each quilt in the exhibit, sold well at the gift shop.
It was an awesome time. Thanks Paducah, Thanks National Quilt Museum. :)

So happy to have an article in the local Times-Standard newspaper about the exhibit at the NQMuseum. I'm excited about the exhibit and it's nice to share with others the good news. See link below.
Here is an additonal picture, Beside the Still Waters, which will be in the exhibit.
