A simple design, inspired by a fabric. The border says Do you see what I see.
I love that Carol and decided to feature the prophetic nature of His coming.

I’d been wanting to do a Christmas quilt honoring Jesus. I had the idea for this one and enlisted Greg and Megan, members of our church, to model for me. My husband again did the photography.
Techniques: Applique with painted shadows and details. Pieced background areas. Heavily quilted.
This quilt is an original design. I sketched the applique elements and machine pieced the crazy quilt panels. Each Panel has fancy stitching between each piece
Techniques: Pieced, appliqued, machine quilted. Has a sleeve sewn to the top back for ease of hanging.
There is a pattern available if you’d like to make your own version.
Adapted to lay on a table top (next to the quilt on the wall). This touch of Christmas will highlight any table.

I used my Granddaughter and her new baby as models for this quilt.
Techniques: Painted on fabric. Heavily quilted.
This was an idea I decided to try. It consists of 5 panels that are held together with some glitzy tulle and organza.
Each tree section is a combination of a collection of printed Christmas fabrics and the blue background is woven 1″ strips.
Names and phrases about Jesus are written here and there in the blue background.
Techniques: Collage, weaving, cotton batting. Heavily quilted.
I designed this little quilt with a pattern in mind. It turned out to be a favorite of mine.
Techniques: Piecing with a touch of applique for the flame. The flame has a bead highlight. Machine quilted.
There is a pattern available for this little quilt. Contact me for info.
