Airport display

The Redwood Regional Airport is a nice place to display my art.  The Redwood Art Assn is in charge and I’m happy to have these quilts on display at this time.

The large quilt “Blooming Bright” is 68″ wide by 44″ tall with a shaped edge.  It is a painted piece that is then heavily quilted.  Then “Barefoot at the Zoo” is 40″ x 32″ and “Guardian” is 39″ x 32″. Both are constructed of many commercial fabrics.  If you happen to be at the airport, please take a few minutes to enjoy the art.

Getting Started

Hi,

I was just working on a new project with little pieces – building tiny things with fabric.  It occurred to me as I was working that I’ve been building tiny things since the early days of making doll clothes.  Seems to be a theme in the things I do for fun.
