The "Old Round Barn" in Loleta, CA measures 28" tall x 38" wide. I made one prior project for my friend that was fun. I decided to make this smaller version for myself. The sky is painted. The barn is as well and then thread added to give some detail then it is appliqued to the overall picture. The foreground is a collage of many grassy prints. The quilt is machine quilted with many various colors of threads which add details to the art piece.
A sleeve is sewn to the top back of the quilt for ease of hanging on a wall.
