Mom’s coat

xblog1

The picture I'm working from is all brown tones, but I decided to add color to my replica.  I thought of red but decided on blue for the fabric portion of the coat.  I hope that it will pick up and enhance the color of her eyes, which were very blue.

I'm enjoying working on this piece and hope it turns out well.

So-Soft by DecoArt is the paint I used. (the thing next to the brush is a sponge, which I use for large areas, like the background.)
