Megans Forest

Another quilt finished - that always feels good.

Here are a couple of steps along the way to Megan's Forest.

First, the "groundwork" is laid.

next, I built the large tree from many different print fabrics.

All of the rest of the quilt was assembled using many, many free cut forms of fabrics. Then the quilt is machine quilted heavily-trying to enhance the shapes and feelings of the forest. There's a hidden item here and there, just for fun.
