Long Road To Bethlehem almost done

The quilting is done (might add a bit here and there).  The binding is on. (that takes forever).  Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to hang it and take some real pictures! YES.

 I also thought I'd show you what I did with the sun rays--(or God's blessings). They are two layers: one of tulle that has a gold glitter, and a yellow organza over top.  I did the stipple and the edge while off the quilt top and then attached the edges with mono poly--so the centers kind of pooch.  And they remain somewhat transparent so you can see the fabric behind.
