77" x 87" 2011 This quilt was inspired by a photo taken by my husband, Gary. I've visited the duckpond in Sequoia Park, Eureka since I was a small child. Many memories are stitched into this quilt. Proudly displayed at the National Quilt Museum Exhibit, 2017 Techniques: Mosaic picture piecing, applique, thread embroidery. Heavily quilted. All wall quilts have a "sleeve" attached at the top back for easy hanging using a dowel, or curtain rod.
84"x 60" 2006 My son was the one who gave me the idea for this quilt. I got the eagle picture from John Hyde of Wild Things Photography. (used with permission) This quilt makes a strong statement Of "God and Country". It's large, but if you have the right place, it would be lovely. Techniques: Mosaic Picture Piecing using a picture as a photomap. Heavily quilted.
