When my "Mosaic" method was new, I experimented with all kinds of pictures. This quilt is inspired by a photo taken out our patio window on a stunning morning. Our house sits next to our church and the cross became the feature I most enjoyed in the picture.
When making my first book: "Mosaic Picture Quilts"; this quilt was featured as a pattern. I've decided to offer these book quilts for sale. (There's only one.)
Mosaic picture quilts are made with many squares of cotton fabrics. Before the quilting process they are overlaid with fine netting (tulle), then machine quilted.
All wall quilts have a "sleeve" attached at the top back for easy hanging using a dowel, or curtain rod.
