This painted quilt was inspired by a trip to Hawaii. There are lava rocks at the edge of the water and you can feel the palms swaying in the wind. I was amazed by the color of the water and tried to replicate that in my painting.

All wall hanging quilts have a “sleeve” attached at the top back. This is used to insert a slat or curtain rod, for easy hanging.
