This little scene on Hwy 36 inspired me to paint this piece.
The center section is painted on cotton fabric and then quilted through and a small binding attached to the edge. Then the outside area is a wrapped canvas of 16" x 20" which is painted to look like an extension of the picture. The little quilt is stitched and glued to the larger canvas.
The quilt hangs like any picture with a wire.
