Since 2005, Pat Durbin has been making art quilts that resemble paintings. She find this to be filled with challenges and rewards. Pat has sewn clothes since childhood but now spends most of her sewing time making quilted art. Using photography as inspiration and various techniques, Pat makes quilted fine art scenes. Crescent View is on it's way to Paducah for the show in late April.
In 2020 it was also juried into this show, but the show was cancelled - so here it goes again in 2022.
It's nice to have the big quilt shows meeting again "in person". So far I haven't attended, but maybe soon.
